Atomic Events CentreAtomic is an exciting and innovative youth events centre developed out of a desperate need for a positive, safe, drug and alcohol free venue for the young people of Hawke's Bay. There are currently around 1000 people coming through the doors each week. The Centre plays host to a raft of activities ranging from: Play stations, rock climbing wall, pool table, indoor sports centre, table tennis, air hockey, basketball, skate park, dance parties, talent quests, music concerts, holiday programmes, high school and intermediate clubs. The Hastings Atomic Events Centre, situated on St Aubyn St, is a supervised environment for young people to relax, socialise and have a good time. The Centre opened in June 2001 after the community expressed a need for a youth venue. Check out Atomic's web site:
