Hastings Library were
thrilled to have a visit from Magpies Michael Johnson (MJ) and Jason
Shoemark (Shoey) on during the July holidays.
They each read the children a story "The Path to Ponga Pond" by Errol
Mcleary and "Oww : a wriggly piglet with a prickly problem" by
Michael Rosen & Jonathan Langley
The guys were presented
with a gift box filled with goodies and a card to say thanks for coming in
and reading a story, followed by a question time. The children asked them
many questions (mainly about rugby) and also what books they liked to read
when they were young and what books they read now. Michael and Jason
then signed autographs.
