How to renew online
 

 Extended Loan Charges

• If an item is kept beyond the due date it is in the extended loan period and you will be charged at a daily rate according to the type of item.

• The extended loan charge is payable after the item is renewed or returned.  It cannot be prepaid.

• After 7 working days you will receive a notice advising that you have an item in an extended loan period.

• A second notice is posted 28 days from the original due date.

• Payment for charges must be made within a month of incurring the charge.

• Payments may be made by EFTPOS.

• Borrowing privileges will be affected if charges remain unpaid.
 

• You are welcome to renew items (with some exceptions - see below)
   - in person at the library
   - by phone
   - online (either in the library or from home). See below.

• Items may be renewed once only.

•There is no charge for renewing an item, but note that overdues and rental charges may apply as below.

• Rental items cannot be renewed online, however you are welcome to renew rental items in person or by phone.  The rental charge is payable for the new issue period.

• An overdue item may be renewed.  An extended loan charge will be added to your library account.  This will be calculated from the overdue date until the renewal date.

• Any extended loan charges accrued at the date of renewal will remain on your card until paid.
 

 
• Login to My Account using your library card number and PIN number.

• Under Loans, click on Current loans, then:

• Tick the select box next to the item you wish to renew,

• Click the Renew Selections button at the top or bottom of the page.

• The Renew All button has been fixed.

• Check that the renewal has taken place by clicking My Details then Current Loans again.
