What is
Interloan? |
Interloan
is a request service operating among New Zealand libraries.
Use
it for items not held in Hastings or Napier libraries. We send the
request to other libraries on your behalf.
|
|
What can I make an
Interloan request? |
Books, copies of
journal/magazine articles, music scores, some car manuals, theses.
Most libraries will not lend audio-visual material such as videos,
however:
- Some music CDs (mainly classical) may be Interloaned.
- A very limited range of videos are available.
Please talk to the Interloans Librarian before making these requests.
Subject Requests can be made
if you do not know of any specific material.

towards the cost of processing the request and postage.

the mail when the item is available for you to collect from Hastings,
Havelock North or Flaxmere Libraries. Come in with your library card to
have your request issued.

long will it take? |
We will do our utmost to get
the item to you as soon as possible. It is difficult to estimate a
date as this is depends on the availability of the item at holding
libraries in New Zealand.
