Large sea swells are expected along the Hawke's Bay coastline over the next two days. Swells are forecast to be around 4.5 metres but may rise to 6 to 9 metres at times.
The swell may affect properties at Ocean Beach and Waimarama and possibly at the Clifton Motor Camp. You are advised to monitor the sea conditions and be prepared to self evacuate if you believe you are in danger.
The large sea swells are expected to be from around midday Friday 21 June to midday Saturday 22 June 2013.
Swells of this magnitude will be unpredictable and extremely dangerous. You are advised to stay clear of the beaches.
