Asian Awards 2012

Hawke’s Bay based Asian entrepreneurs, professionals and organisations are being invited to enter a competition, which will recognise the potential and unique identity of the Asian community.

An awards evening, to be held in August, will honour businesses and individuals who are making a difference in the community and organisations which have helped promote their own particular culture.

‘Asians in the Bay’ newspaper editor Leigh Burling says “The awards will be of great benefit to the community, by promoting the importance of unity, cooperation and the creation of a culture of excellence within the Asian business and professional communities.”

“We are aiming to create an event which will honour Asians in Hawke’s Bay who have reached the very highest levels of achievement in their chosen field.”

Awards will be presented in three categories, outstanding entrepreneurs, practicing professionals and outstanding community groups.  Nomination forms are available below.
