Dog Control Bylaw - Waipatiki Beach area

The Hastings District Council gives notice that we are calling for submissions on the review of Hastings District Council Dog Control Bylaw, as it relates to the Dogs Off Lead Exercise Areas – Schedule 3 of the Dog Control Bylaw.

The following amendment to the existing Bylaw is being proposed:

“Off Lead Exercise Areas include;

The beach front of Waipatiki Beach settlement, coastward of the reserve, during daylight saving hours between 7:30pm and 7:30am the following day, and 6:00pm and 7:00am the following day for the remainder of the year.”

Submissions

Any person can make a submission supporting or opposing the proposed amendment. This must be in writing in the prescribed format. A copy of the submission form is available below, or at the Hastings District Council, Lyndon Road East, Hastings.
