There are five public swimming pool facilities in the Hastings District, both indoor and outdoor.

Water World
Indoor Pool, Flaxmere This pool complex was built in 1977, and covered and heated in 1989. It consists of a 25 metre training pool, a 15 metre learn to swim pool and a toddlers pool. |

Frimely Aquatic
Centre, Hastings Open November to March, the Aquatic centre has an outdoor pool, diving pool, learn to swim pool, and a toddlers pool. |

Havelock North
Village Pool An outdoor pool operating over summer, there are five pools at the complex all heated to a pleasant 24 degrees. Enjoy the outdoor bbq and basketball areas also. |

Clive
War Memorial Swimming Pool This facility has two tepid indoor pools operating all year round. A range of learn-to-swim programmes are also available. |
