Hastings District Council’s support and commitment to safety within the community is reflected in both the Safer Community and Neighbourhood Support programmes. These have a focus on crime reduction and their success will assist residents to feel safe in their homes.
The Safer Community programme focuses on networking with
organisations to support community initiatives aimed at crime
reduction and improving the coordination of services. This
programme
develops and implements preventative programmes that address
crime issues such as domestic violence, youth crime, burglary
and general community safety.
