Hawke's Bay Opera House
The Hawke's Bay Opera House has held a special place in the hearts of Hastings residents for generations. Formerly known as the Hastings Municipal Theatre, it has hosted thousands of music, drama and other cultural performances, from international-level ballet through to primary school music recitals.
The redevelopment of the Opera House and Precinct buildings has transformed this magnificent spanish mission building, with its unique architecture and history, into a lively venue and tourist attraction, set within a precinct designed for food, wine and theatre lovers.
