Housing for the Elderly

If you, or a loved one, are over the age of 60 and looking for an affordable, safe and well-maintained rental property in the Hastings District, the Hastings District Council’s housing complexes could be your answer.

There are nine complexes to choose from, and with rent starting at as little as $79 a week, people over the age of 60 are enjoying the friendships and security the units provide.

Making the complexes as comfortable as possible for the residents is a priority for the Council. Council staff look after the lawns and maintain the main gardens. Residents can also grow their own flowers and vegetables.
