The Council has decided to progress the rezoning of the Irongate stage 1 area in priority to Omahu Road stage 1. At present, Council staff are progressing a plan change for this area. In terms of the Omahu Road industrial area Council are undertaking stormwater investigations with a view to enabling a plan change to be prepared for the rezoning of this proposed industrial area subsequent to Irongate.
