Visit the Hastings, Havelock North or Flaxmere libraries today for news resources, including many New Zealand newspapers held in print for three months. Access is also available to online newspapers in New Zealand or around the world.

The Hastings Library Reference Section holds Hawke’s Bay newspapers from 1896 to the present day - mainly on microfilm. Earlier 19th century Hawke's Bay newspapers can be found online on the PapersPast website.

People can also research all sorts of local historic information from the Hastings Library website www.hastingslibrary.co.nz.
