The grand opening of the Hawke’s Bay Opera House will now take place
in March next year.
Hastings Mayor Lawrence Yule announced today that the project is two to three
weeks behind schedule meaning the planned December opening weekend was not
feasible.

Hawke’s Bay District Health Board’s medical officer of health,
Dr Caroline McElnay, said latest results show that the sewage has now dispersed
