Community groups and organisations will have the opportunity to find out more about community grants and funding opportunities at a special community forum in mid-February.

The forum focused on fundraising will be held in the Council Chamber at 207 Lyndon Street East on Wednesday, 13 February from 11am - 2pm.

A variety of funding provders, both local and national, will present information about community grants and funding opportunities, and will be available to answer questions.

The Community Development Team organises regular Community Forums to provide information on a range of topics and services.

The Community Forums are particularly aimed at those involved in, or working with, community organisations and the not-for-profit sector. The format for the Community Forums generally consists of a guest speaker, followed by an opportunity for informal discussion and networking.

The forums are free to attend.
