Hastings District Council voted today to go ahead with the consultation around the Regional Sports Park proposal. Public consultation will begin tomorrow with the public being encouraged to make submissions to the Council.
The proposal will be distributed to households in Hastings District with additional copies being available at the Hastings’ libraries and main office, and on this website.
Nine councillors voted for the recommendation. Councillors O’Keefe, Burnside and Bradshaw voted against. Public consultation will close on Monday 26 May. Submissions will be heard on 16-17 June.
Hastings District Council is also consulting on the draft Annual Plan 2008/09 which was accepted for consultation on 3 April. Submissions close on 12 May.
