Omahu Road Upgrade To Be Re-Sealed

A recently resealed section of Omahu Road is being re-shaped and re-sealed after a surveying error meant the resurfacing was not done to specification.

The 4km Omahu Road Corridor Upgrade is being carried out to repair the existing road surface and to manage increasing traffic flows on the northwestern gateway to Hastings.

Splash Planet Bucks National Tourist Trend

Almost 50,000 people cooled off at Splash Planet in January alone and visitor numbers are tracking brilliantly for the season.

For the season to the end of January last year 69,221 visitors attended Splash Planet and Year to Date to the end of January this year numbers are up to 82,227 – 13,006 more than the same time last year.

Donation Made to Australian Fire Victims as Heat Hits Home
