The Community Link is published every Saturday in Hawke's Bay Today - Hawke's Bay's local newspaper. The Community Link keeps you up-to-date with what is happening at the Hastings District Council from changes to the Building Act to what events are on. Community Link also displays all Council public notices for things like road closures, Council meetings, tenders and proposed plan changes open for submission.

Nelson Park voting papers on the way to mailboxes
Voting papers for the Nelson Park referendum are now being distributed. A total of 50140 papers will be mailed out to Hastings electors, who have until 9 November to say whether they support or oppose the sale of Nelson Park for a large format retail development.
