The Hastings District Council's planning scholarship aims to encourage more students to commence and continue study in planning, and to help the Council recruit suitable graduate planners.
We are offering one scholarship for the 2010 academic year. This scholarship will be for two years and will be offered to a planning student who will be in the third year of their degree in 2009.
Applications for the 2010 scholarship close 9 October 2009
The scholarship has a monetary value intended to cover each year's tuition fees and the successful holders will be expected to be available for paid student work over the Christmas break.
In return the scholarship holder will be bonded to the Council at the completion of their degree for one year for every year of support.
This scholarship is a great opportunity for planning students to gain excellent and varied work experience in planning, whilst being supported through their studies.
