All dogs need exercise, it is important for owners to know just where they can exercise them.

The exercise maps are available as PDF files below. To view and print the files you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed (download for free from the Adobe website).
- Hastings City - (western side of Karamu Rd S from Murdoch Rd to Pattison Rd)
- Havelock North
- Flaxmere - (southern side of Portsmouth Rd from Wilson Rd)
- Otene Rd - (grass area under trees)

Remember it is important that you pick up your dog's droppings. It is prohibited under the Dog Control Act 1996 and the Hastings District Council Bylaws to permit or allow your dog to foul in public places. They are a health risk, and don't look nice on our streets, beaches, parks and reserves.
It's easy - grab a plastic bag and follow these steps:
 1. Insert hand into bag |
 2. Pick up the waste |
 3. Turn bag inside out |
 4. Dispose of bag in bin |
