Hastings District Council

Assessment of water and sanitary services

Home : Property : Assessment of water and sanitary services

For a number of years, Hastings District Council has been reviewing the quality of water and wastewater and sanitary services in its smaller communities. The sanitary services include toilets, cemeteries and crematoria.

Council engaged Opus International Consultants to carry out a review of the water and wastewater services in a number of smaller communities, while Neil MacLean, the Council's Community Services Asset Management Planner, has completed the assessment on public toilets, cemeteries and crematoria.

Works identified in the assessments are to be included in Council's LTCCP and the assessments and the programmed works will be subject to public consultation as part of the LTCCP process.

You can view and print copies of the assessments for various smaller communities below. Paper copies are available from your nearest Hastings District library, or the Council's main offices in Lyndon Road East, Hastings.
