The Hastings Sports Centre is a vibrant and friendly indoor recreation facility, available to the whole community. The Centre has equipment and catering facilities, including rooms for conferences and meetings.

Equipment for Hire
A large range of sporting equipment is available for hire on and off site, including earthball, parachute, basketballs, various kiwisport gear, croquet, cricket and golf.
Conference and Meeting Facilities
The Hastings Sports Centre is also a modern conference facility
in the heart of Hastings, so if you are looking for a friendly
place to hold a meeting, have a family gathering or perhaps

Conference facilities include the 900 square metre hall (which can be divided in two) plus two breakout rooms. The smaller of the two rooms has a capacity of 20 – 40 people and overlooks the main hall. The main function room has a 60-person capacity and a self-contained kitchen.
Audio visual equipment (TV Video, OHP) and white boards/flip chart are all available.
Bookings
You do not need to be a member of a club to use the Hastings Sports Centre. While sports clubs do hire the facility for their activities, anyone can hire the Centre during the week on a casual basis if it is not booked out to a club/organisation. game of netball?
A. Yes, in fact you can book the centre for
any sport including indoor soccer, cricket, volleyball - you
name it we play it!
The Sports Centre boasts superb court space suitable for a
range of activities from international competition through
to a casual game of badminton, basketball, volleyball or table
tennis.
The 900 square metre sports hall is marked for basketball, netball, badminton, volleyball, tennis and skating and has a capacity of 1000 people. It is suited to a wide range of sporting and recreation activities.
