Hastings District Council has received an application for a Resource Consent from Matarua Trustee Company Limited for a Rural Farm park subdivision to create 15 lifestyle sites and one balance farm site at Waimarama Road, Hastings.
This application is limited notified and as such only persons who have already been directly notified of this application by the council may make a submission.
The applicant seeks to create 15 lifestyle lots (Lots 1 – 15) ranging in size from 2500m2 to 6800m2. There is a shared access and the remaining balance lot (lot 16) has an area of 60.19 hectares. The application includes an assessment of environmental effects.

As not all persons deemed to possibly be affected by the granting of this consent have given written consent, the application has been limited notified. Though you may previously have given written approval, you are now invited to make a formal submission to the proposal.
If you have been directly notified and wish to make a submission on this application you may do so by sending a written submission to Hastings District Council, Private Bag 9002 Hastings. The submission must be in ‘form 13’. A copy of this form is enclosed.
The submission must be dated, signed by you, and include the following information:
1. Your name, postal address, phone no. and fax no and email address (if applicable)
2. The specific part(s) of the application that you are making submissions about, including the location.
3. Your submissions with reasons
4. The decision you wish Council to make; whether you support or oppose the application and
5. Whether you wish to be heard in support of your submission.
The closing date for submissions was Tuesday, 13th April 2010.
