Resource Consents : Tumu Timbers

The Hastings District Council has received an application for a resource consent from Tumu Timbers Limited to subdivide to undertake a boundary adjustment to facilitate an expansion to the existing Tumu Timbers industrial timber business.
The proposal involves the severing of 2.2 hectares from the site known as 1229 Maraekakaho Road. This portion of land is intended to be amalgamated with the Tumu Timbers site, known as 1215 Maraekakaho Road. The proposal involves the expansion of an existing dry pallet storage building (comprising 960m2) and the construction of a new dry timber storage building (comprising 1120m2).
The application includes an assessment of environmental effects.
The application may be inspected at Resource Management, 2nd Floor, Hastings District Council, Lyndon Road, Hastings, during office hours.
