Restricted Work Hours

The orange coloured lengths of road on the map are those which have high morning and evening peak traffic volumes. Council has prohibited any activity on these roads which would affect the normal flow of traffic (emergencies excepted) between the hours 7.30am – 9.00am and 4.30pm – 5.30pm weekdays.

Note that Pakowhai Road has now been restricted over its total length, Stortford Lodge to the Expressway. In addition, no work is to take place on school days within 250m of the main gates of any school between 8.00am - 9.00am or 2.30pm - 3.30pm.

Exemptions may be considered by the Council on a case by case basis.
