  • Hawke's Bay Expressway - Construction of Southern Extension
    Work Start: 1 October 2009, Expected completion: 24 February 2011

    The commencement of the construction of the Southern Extension to the Hawke's Bay Expressway linking the York Road roundabout with Longlands Road, including the construction of a 5 leg roundabout at the intersection of Longlands Road and Maraekakaho Road, four leg roundabout at York Road, and the severing of Irongate Road. The works began in October 2009 and will continue through to 2011.
