Voting papers will be posted to everyone on the electoral roll between Friday 17th September and Wednesday 22nd September 2010.

Election day is Saturday 9th October 2010.

Under section 28 of the Local Electoral Act 2001, electors of the Hastings District have a right to demand a poll on the electoral system to be used for the elections of the Hastings District Council and the Hastings District Rural Community Board.
