The Plains Zone provisions would continue to have effect until such time as the Plan Change is operative. |
| 43 | Proposed Council Plan Change Proposed Plan Change 43 seeks to rezone approximately 7150m2 of land from Plains Zone to General Residential (via a Deferred Residential Zoning) at the eastern end of Jellicoe Street and Jubilee Street in Hastings. The proposed rezoned area would extend to the edge of the Proposed Hastings Northern Arterial Route “NAR” which is being notified concurrently with this proposed Plan Change. This Plan Change is therefore dependent on the Northern Arterial Road being approved for it to proceed. |

| 45 | Private Plan Change This request seeks to rezone some 950 hectares of land contained in a total of 13 existing separate Certificates of Title at Ocean Beach, from Rural Zone to Ocean Beach Special Character Zone. This zoning seeks to provide a framework to enable the development of a new village at the southern end of the beach and to provide for ecological restoration and conservation at the northern end of the beach and for the continuation of farming operations, including provision for equestrian activities and associated clustered housing, on the land in between. |
