Blossom Parade trainHastings Blossom Parade 2024

Arts Inc. Heretaunga will once again organise the parade on behalf of Hastings District Council, with generous support from charitable trusts and sponsors.

We invite the people of Hastings, their friends and families to create entries that will be memorable for all. We want to celebrate the diversity of the Hastings district with Maori, Pasifika and all other ethnic communities being an essential part of the 2024 Blossom Parade.

The theme chosen for the 2024 Blossom Parade is: 'Regeneration: Spring Back Hastings!'

This theme offers numerous opportunities for interpretation. Hawke's Bay boasts a wealth of artists, craftspeople, and entrepreneurs who design, create, and build. Our schools are filled with talented young individuals, and our community groups and leaders significantly enhance our lives. The Blossom Parade celebrates our people and their remarkable ideas, actions, and accomplishments.

We are in a time of recovery and rebuilding in the region. This is reflected in this year's theme. Our community can and will continue to 'spring back'. We have a lot to be proud of as part of the community in the wider Hastings District and we have the opportunity to raise the profile of our city and our community, by taking part in the Hastings Blossom Parade.
