Cape Kidnappers landslide

On January 23, 2019 a significant slip occurred at Cape Kidnappers, resulting in the Hastings District Council closing beach access from Clifton in the interests of public safety. On this page the council will provide updates on any other slip activity, progress with geologist investigations of the area, and decision-making around beach access to the area.
