Have you always wanted to learn how to draw? In this specialist drawing class we delve into the seemingly magical skills of drawing to learn how to really look at a subject and draw it accurately.
You’ll learn everything you need to practice drawing on your own including:
- practical skills for sketching and shading realistically
- how to accurately measure proportions
- how to see the way an artist sees
Over the first five classes, discover new techniques through a series of exercises and small projects. In the final two weeks you’ll be able to confidently draw a subject of your own choice with guidance from the tutor.
This adults art course is suitable for complete beginners or for those people who want a refresher to get back into art. All students receive a start-up drawing materials pack including pencils and a sketchbook.
When: MONDAYS 6.00-8.15pm, 10th Feb – 24th March (7 weeks)
