Parks and Reserves
Hastings District is home to more than 55 hectares of sports fields, 185 hectares of reserves, 160 hectares of domains, 10 hectares of gardens and shrub beds and some 8000 trees. In 2015, Hastings was awarded the annual Keep New Zealand Beautiful Award for the most beautiful city in New Zealand for those with a population of 20,000 or more.

Book a park or reserve
These parks and reserves in the Hastings District are available for you to hire. Usually a hire fee applies as well as a bond to ensure the quality of the grounds after your event.
Please note: our parks and reserves cannot be booked for wedding receptions.
