Bill Mathewson Park

Bill Mathewson Park in Hastings is a large sports ground marked with two senior rugby fields and one junior rugby field in winter. Four multi-use playing fields are marked in summer catering for, in the main, touch rugby (see field maps below). It is home to the Tamatea Rugby and Sports Club.

Public toilets: Yes; closed at night

The entrances to the park are off Willowpark Rd, Cunningham Cres and Collinge Pl.

Maintenance and development programmes for this reserve are governed by the District Wide Reserve Management Plan.
