Evers-Swindell Reserve

Named after retired Hawkes Bay Olympic rowers, Caroline and Georgina Evers-Swindell, this popular 1ha reserve is found on the shores of the Clive River, located between Napier and Hastings in Clive. It is a popular tourist spot with overnight parking at Evers-Swindell Reserve permitted on Hastings District Council land under the trees. More information on overnight camping at this location can be found at Overnight parking for certified self-contained vehicles.

The redevelopment of this reserve enhanced its reputation as a great picnic spot, with the addition of a playground, picnic tables and upgraded toilets.
