Waipatiki Domain and Bush Reserve

Waipatiki Domain and Bush ReserveEnjoy a drive to the edge of the District to get to this popular summer spot! Waipatiki Domain provides access to Waipatiki Beach – a great spot for swimming and family beach activities. Waipatiki is a small beach side community located 11km off the main Napier-Gisborne Highway.

The reserve consists of two distinctive areas; the native bush area to the north and the open space areas of grass and golden sand on the beach front. On the south side of the stream is a camping ground, while the road provides access on the northern side of the stream to the beach picnic area and toilets.
