Singer/Songwriter Jason Kerrison is taking his talents across Aotearoa on a special solo songbook tour, hosted at delightful intimate venues sharing Opshop, The Babysitters Circus songs, solo work including his new single and some of his personal all-time favourites.
With 15 shows between October 11th and December 7th, from Kaitaia to The Cook in Dunedin fans will be treated to JK performing solo with his loop pedal, conjuring forth acoustic versions of ‘No Ordinary Thing’, ‘Saturated’, ’Nothing Can Wait’, ‘Maybe’, ’One Day’, ‘Pins and Needles’, ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’. Just some of the material from the songbook of 7 time platinum artist, Silver Scroll Winner and 9 time Tui Award recipient
Jason’s Kerrison’s newest single ‘I Will If You Will’ released on September 20th by the Amsterdam based company TCBYNML worldwide, despite its electro pop sonic sheen,
will be reimagined simply and on acoustic guitar with voice for these shows.
Jason says “I’ve been on the road a lot but never on my own. I’m looking forward to jamming out these songs and stripping them back to where most of them came from, my acoustic guitar and my voice. I’m looking forward to sharing these songs and the stories that come with them. It’ll be a little loose and a bit of fun. To be honest if I feel like doing a bit of random karaoke, I will, and I’ll invite others to as well!”
