Ron Giorgi

There are three Ron Giorgi Parks (I, II and III), all in the same neighbourhood in Flaxmere.

Ron Giorgi I has a small playground with swings in a sizeable area of green space.

Seating: Yes

Public toilets: No

The entrances to the park are off Walton Way, Berwick St and Kirkcaldy Cres.

Ron Giorgi II is the largest of the three and is a sports ground with an artificial cricket wicket and skating facilities (see field maps below). Home to the Western Suburbs Rugby and Sport Club, the park has clubrooms and changing room facilities.

Seating: Yes

Public toilets: Yes; open during organised sporting events only

The entrances to the park are off Walton Way, Chatham Rd and Portsmouth Rd.

Ron Giorgi III is the second largest and has a large grassed area suitable for family games as well as winter sports fields (see field map below). It also has a small neighbourhood playground (which includes flying fox, swings, a scooter path, see-saw, slide mound, shade sail, seating and drinking fountain) and a basketball court. 

Seating: Yes

Public toilets: No

The entrances to the park are off Chatham Rd, Burton Cres and Scott Dr.

Maintenance and development programmes for all three of these parks are governed by the District Wide Reserve Management Plan.
