With disposable 3 tier stand options, or supply your own, we have thought of everything. Sit back, enjoy the festival and let your taste buds take you back in time.
Please note: Catering packs must be pre-ordered via iTICKET and collected on the day to enjoy at your own Gatsby Picnic site. Collect your High Tea from the EIT Gazebo located on the Upper Lawn, Napier SoundShell
Gatsby Picnic Info:
Location, Upper and Lower Lawn from Tom Parker Fountain to Napier Sound Shell, Marine Parade, Napier. We do encourage smaller gazebos to allow more people to have space on the lawn.
Wheelchair access to Lower Lawn via Napier Conference Centre or i-SITE.
Gazebos on the seaward side of the lawns only. No gazebos to be erected before 6am Sunday 17 Feb.
Once the top lawn is full, gazebos can be erected on the lower lawn to the south of the Tom Parker Fountain. There will be a band performing on the lower lawn. The lower lawn to the north of the Tom Parker Fountain is reserved as a sponsors and VIP area. Please keep the ends of the top lawns clear so that people who are promenading have a clear path.
Drop off area:
Marine Parade will be closed from the Tom Parker Fountain to Albion Lane. You can use the area in front of the fountain as a drop off point.
Behind the Sound Shell, Napier Conference Centre and Marine Parade by the DOC building. The Gatsby Picnic is intended to be a community picnic – and not is an opportunity to sell goods. Anyone who is not authorised by the Art Deco Trust to sell goods will be asked to leave.
