What do I want to achieve as a youth councillor?

I want Hastings to be filled with more opportunities for fun for our young people.
I want Mental health and education to be put into the spotlight and bought to peoples attention, for our youth not to be afraid to stand up and say “I am not ok, I need help”.  Giving them that confidence to have voice and let them know that they will be heard and that there is people out there who care.

What do I love about Hastings?

One of the things that I love about Hastings is the amount of local Hastings businesses that are providing jobs for the young people in the community which is providing them
with a head start for their future
