Street(s): Te Mata Peak Road, Napier Road and Columba Way Car Park
Pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hastings District Council will temporarily close to all traffic,
Te Mata Peak Road from the car park inside the main gates to the summit of Te Mata Peak. The road closure will be between 4:30pm and 10:00pm, Friday, 20 October 2017.
Napier Road (southern lane) from Karanema Drive to the central roundabout. The road closure will be between 6:00am and 4:00pm, Sunday, 22 October 2017.
Columba Way car park from Te Mata Road to Napier Road. The road closure will be between 6:00am and 2:00pm, Sunday, 22 October 2017.
The purpose of the above road closures are to provide a safe finish area for cyclists participating in the annual Hawke’s Bay Tour (cycling events).
Any persons objecting to, or wishing to send in submissions of support to this proposed closure are called upon to lodge notice of objection or submission of support in writing before 4:00pm, Monday, 28 August 2017 at the office of the Hastings District Council, Private Bag 9002, Hastings, 4156 Attention: Group Manager: Asset Management.
