This map shows road works and temporary road closures across Hastings. The map is interactive, zoom in to view street names or click on an icon to find out more details about the work or event.  You can also use the search function to find a particular road. To see a list of road works and closures in text format, click on the black arrow at the bottom centre of the map to display the list.

Public notices of temporary road closures can be found below the map at the bottom of the page.

Below is a breakdown of short term solutions currently in place for those bridges lost during Cyclone Gabrielle. For a map of road closures see above the table.

Redclyffe (Waiohiki) 8 August, 2023 30 km/hr max 8 tonne loading

Note: There are currently no crossings in place for Puketapu, Brookfield, Darkeys Spur No.1 and Kereru Gorge. At Aropaoanui, the existing Arapawanui bridge is still in place but the approach has only been temporarily reinstated while we look for a permanent solution. At Crownthorpe, repairs to the approach are underway.
