What: If you’re ready to emerge from lockdown doom and gloom and have your spirits lifted then you need to check out Angus Muir Design’s Water Fun. Think colourful balls floating on water that light up, almost like party balloons or bouncing balls. Funded by our Activation Fund.

When: October 8-29

Where: Hastings city centre fountain.

Vibrancy Fund applications open – tell us your idea and we could help fund it!

Our City Centre Vibrancy Grant exists to bring the wow-factor (whether little or large) into our public spaces –supporting our amazing local artists.

How it works: Is simple – we allocate a set amount of funding, you apply, and then we help make your ideas a reality. All ideas are welcome: public performances or installations, murals and street-art, yarnbombing, eyebombing or something else. The more out-there the idea, the better!

To apply: We’re accepting applications now for the next round of funding. Jump online to www.hastingsdc.govt.nz/vibrancyfund, click ‘Apply online’ and fill out the form. Applications close October 31.
