The scheduled closure of Swim Heretaunga in Flaxmere to install a new chlorine disinfectant system has been delayed due to the availability of parts and contractors.
Due to take place from April 15 to 22, this work will now happen from April 27 to May 4, meaning the pool will remain open to the public for most of the April school holidays, and will then reopen May 5.
The closure will allow the existing chlorine disinfectant system to be replaced with a new system, the same as is used at Splash Planet, and any other maintenance work and staff training to be undertaken.
