Again Again – Choose to reuse your coffee cup
In July, HDC will kick off the Again Again reusable coffee cup scheme. Did you know that in the Hastings district around four million single-use cups end up in landfill every year? How can you get involved? Customers pay a $3 deposit (bond) at a participating café to “borrow” the stainless steel Again Again cup. It can be kept and reused, or swap it with a clean one in one of the participating cafés, or get a refund when you bring it back. Give it go! And if you would like to see your favourite café receive the HDC subsidy and participate in the scheme, let them know! More info on (www.againagain.co/). Together we can make a difference.
