Landmarks members plant over 600 daffodil bulbs

A small band of Landmarks members planted over 600 daffodil bulbs at the beginning of April 2022 under the memorial flowering cherry trees in the grounds of Stoneycroft on Omahu Road.

And here is the beautiful result! They bring a burst of golden joy to passers-by on the busy corner of Omahu Road and the Expressway. We hope they will go forth and multiply!

The 50 Cherry trees were donated - and planted over 2 years, 2006 and 2007- by citizens and families to celebrate Hastings' 50 years a city.
