Christmas and New Year 2022/23 operating hours

Council services and facilities will be operating during the Christmas and New Year holidays although some will have reduced hours and days.
HDC Customer Service Centre

CLOSED from 3pm, 23 December 2022 to 8am, 9 January 2023.
The 24-hour call centre will remain open throughout the holiday period, phone (06) 871 5000.

Rubbish and recycling

There is no change to recycling and rubbish collection days during this period.
