Operating hours of Council's services and facilities during the Easter long weekend.

HDC Customer Service Centre

• CLOSED Good Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Easter Monday

The 24-hour call centre will remain open throughout the period, phone (06) 871 5000.

Rubbish and recycling

There is no kerbside collection on Friday 29 March. If your usual collection day is Friday, we’ll pick up your rubbish and recycling on Saturday 30 March. Items still need to be out by 7am.

Cremations and burials only as pre-approved by cemetery office but will be subject to public holiday overtime fees. Normal procedures and overtime rates for Saturdays and Sundays apply.
