Christmas & New Year’s Hours

Council services and facilities will be operating during the Christmas and New Year holidays although some will have reduced hours and days.

HDC Customer Service Centre

CLOSED from 3pm, December 22, 2023 to 8am, January 8, 2024. The 24-hour call centre will remain open throughout the holiday period, phone 06 871 5000.

Recycling and Rubbish

Kerbside collection changes for both recycling & rubbish over the holidays.
