Grab your tot and get to Splash Planet

Little ones will descend on Splash Planet en masse on three Wednesdays again this season, with Splash Planet’s Tiny Tots programme starting next week (November 23).

Splash Planet opened for the season on Monday (November 14).

Introduced last year, Tiny Tots provides a great value morning out for under five year olds to experience what Splash Planet has to offer its younger guests, as well as plenty of extra entertainment just for them, says Splash Planet manager Peran Hutchings.

“The little ones can ride the Fantasyland Express Train, play in Tiny Town and splash in the toddler pools,” he says.

“We’ll also have some fantastic entertainers here to provide extra fun, including storyteller Mary Kippenberger, DJ Red Alert and our beloved mascot Squirt.”

The Toddler Days will be held on three Wednesdays: November 23 and 30 , and December 7, from 10.30am-12pm.

Each day has a different theme, as follows:

Wednesday, November 23

Teddy Bear’s Picnic: Join us in Tiny Town for a Teddy Bear’s Picnic with storytelling by Mary Kippenberger. Bring along your favourite teddy and it will get its own special certificate.

Wednesday, November 30

Squirt’s Birthday Party: It’s Squirt’s birthday! Come along for a party at Tiny Town with face painting and lots of giveaways! Bring your teddy too to join in the fun!

Wednesday, December 7

Beach Party: We’re having a beach party! Dig for treasure in our beach dig on the volleyball court with DJ Red Alert providing the tunes.

Entry for under 3 year olds is free. Children aged four and up and spectators are $5. Entry includes use of the toddler pools and Fantasyland Express train. Bookings are not required, simply turn up for fun.
