Dog Control Report
The purpose of this report is to update Council on the dog control statistics for the annual 10A Dog Report for the year 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2017.
Hastings District Socio-Demographic Profile Report
This report includes social and demographic information, prepared for the Hastings District Council by Professor Natalie Jackson (November 2011).
Haumoana Coastal Erosion Scoping and Feasibility Study Report
This report provides an analysis of the feasibility of protecting the Haumoana coastline through the construction of a series of groynes.
It considers a current design proposal for these structures, the outcomes of an iterative peer review process on the engineering feasibility and costs of the proposal, and the findings of a cost‐benefit analysis of alternatives to arrive at an overall conclusion on project feasibility, within the national and regional policy context of the sustainable management of the coast. This technical report will be superseded by the Joint Coastal Hazards Strategy due to be released by 2018.
Safer Hastings Annual Report
Safer Hastings is a coalition made up of people from a diverse group of government and community agencies and a wide network of supporting organisations all working together in a co-ordinated and collaborative way to improve community safety.
State of the Environment Report
State of the environment monitoring provides Council and the community with access to information on the state or condition of our environment, enabling us to identify key environmental pressures and, from this information, then assess responses to those pressures. It is important that we as a community are informed about how we are performing in the management of our natural and built environment. The Report is not so much a report card on Council’s management of the environment, but a report card on us all as custodians/kaitaiki of the environment.
