Road works map

This map shows road works and temporary road closures across Hastings. The map is interactive, zoom in to view street names or click on an icon to find out more details about the work or event.  You can also use the search function to find a particular road. To see a list of road works and closures in text format, click on the black arrow at the bottom centre of the map to display the list.

Public notices of temporary road closures can be found below the map at the bottom of the page.

We are unable to give any assurances that roads are open during weather events. Closures are shown on this page when council is alerted to issues.

Our advice is to avoid using the roads during weather events until the worst has passed. Roads can close naturally at any moment, and if the event is severe there will be times we will be unable to get out and attend to issues.

If a road user has a query about a site in particular, and there are reasons to elevate the site to a higher priority, we welcome them to call us on (06) 871 5000
